With big ambitions for the future and a growing client base, we’re looking for a new Business Development Consultant to join our close-knit team. You’ll be working directly with Ian Hutchings, our Founder, as well as our marketing and consultancy team to help develop the business in all areas.
The role is yours to shape and own. You’ll have the freedom and autonomy to develop new ways of working that boost our client relationships, improve our processes and attract new business.
No two days will be the same. A multi-faceted role, you’ll be working on:
- driving exceptional customer experiences
- networking with potential clients
- managing a diverse range of client accounts
- improving CRM efficiency
- writing and delivering high quality service proposals
- streamlining and improving the customer journey
- helping us expand into new markets
- strengthening our presence in existing markets
You will be a proactive, considerate and enthusiastic individual who can think on their feet and work autonomously. At the same time, you will enjoy working as a team, spending time getting to know your colleagues and building meaningful connections.
An open and confident communicator, your focus will be on doing what’s best for our customers, encouraging them to question what they need vs. what they want so they can get the most out of our services.
You will be target-driven and should have experience working in a similar B2B services or professional services role in the risk management field. You should also be able to demonstrate how you’ve made a difference in an organisation and the many ways your work has benefited client relationships.
Business development experience in the education, commercial, residential, hospitality or leisure sector is desired but not essential.
Salary £35-40K + bonus, car allowance, pension and healthcare scheme.
