Health and Safety Sentencing Guidelines
The new sentencing guidelines came into force recently. I am still finding many directors are not aware of this change, which is perhaps one of the most significant in a number of years. Meaning that, amongst other things:
– Sentencing can be based on potential injury even if no one is hurt.
– More significant fines are based on profit and turnover.
